The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) is inviting sealed bids for the purchase of a quantity of local alcoholic beverages on an ‘As Is, Where Is’ basis. Inspection by interested bidders will be facilitated daily from Wednesday, October 4, 2017 to Friday, October 6, 2017, during the hours of 09:00 to 15:00 at Lot 5 Strand New Amsterdam, Berbice.
The quantity of local alcoholic beverages which are stored at Lot 5 Strand New Amsterdam, Berbice, would be shown to prospective bidders by GRA’s representative. Bids must be placed in sealed envelopes bearing no identification of the bidders on the outside and must be clearly marked on the top, left hand corner “Bid For Local Alcoholic Beverages”.
Bids must be deposited in the Bid Box at the Integrated Regional Tax Office, Lot 5 Strand New Amsterdam, Berbice, no later than Friday, October 6, 2017, at 15:30hrs.
Terms and Conditions of Sale:
1) The local alcoholic beverages are sold on an “As Is, Where Is” basis.
2) Payment must be made in cash or manager’s cheque payable to the “Guyana Revenue Authority” by the successful bidder, within three (3) working days of being informed. Failure to pay within the stipulated time period will result in the next successful bidder being considered.
3) Removal and transport of local alcoholic beverages from the location would be the responsibility of the bidder and must be removed within two (2) working days of being informed.
4) Bid Forms can be uplifted from GRA’s Office, Lot 5 Strand New Amsterdam, Berbice.
The GRA reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted for the local alcoholic beverages.
