With reference to the captioned subject, kindly be advised that the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) has embarked on the implementation of the latest version of ASYCUDA World (AW). This new software will be replacing the current Total Revenue Integrated Processing System (TRIPS) for the processing of declaration and will take the form of electronic submission.
The AW National Project Team (NPT) is currently in the configuration phase of the electronic Single Administrative Document (e-SAD) which will be utilized for the processing of customs declarations. As such, for the purpose of delivery of training on the e-SAD to key stakeholders, the AW NPT is kindly requesting all Licenced Customs Brokers and Companies’ Brokers to retrieve and submit the AW User Registration Form on or before May 30, 2018. These forms can be retrieved on the GRA’s Website utilizing the ASYCUDA Web Portal. Submissions can either be done electronically to the email address provided on the said portal or hand delivered to the GRA’s NPT office.
In light of the above, it is recommended that you take this opportunity to familiarize yourself and be conversant with the AW technical requirements for your personal computers and to have your facilities equipped with the same. This is to ensure that your functions are executed efficiently and effectively when the e-SAD is implemented. The technical requirements can also be accessed through GRA’s website.
Please be further informed that you shall be notified of the training schedule and agenda in a subsequent notice.
