The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) will be disposing a quantity of alcoholic beverages on a ‘As Is, Where Is’ basis.
Inspection of the goods will be facilitated daily, commencing Wednesday, June 8, 2022, and concluding on Friday, June 10, 2022, during the hours of 09:00am and 03:00pm at the GRA’s Warehouse Facility, Industrial Site, Eccles, East Bank Demerara and LEID Regional Operation Office, Corriverton, Berbice.
The Alcohol will be disposed at GRA’s approved price list and interested persons are required to submit a written request to the Revenue Authority and express their interest to purchase the alcohol along with:
- A copy of their Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Certificate; and
- A copy of the requisite Off-Liquor and Malt & Wine Licence OR a Liquor Restaurant Licence.
Persons who have met the above-mentioned criteria and are interested, must state clearly in their letter to the GRA (on or before 10th day of June, 2022), the quantity requested to purchase and their contact information.
Please note, all foreign alcohol purchases will be subject to the stamping requirements set out under Regulation 212 of the Regulations made under the Customs Act, Chapter 82:01. In addition, the Revenue Authority reserves the right to reject any or all requests and to remove or re-offer any of the items for sale.
