1st July 2020 Launch of the ASYCUDA World IMS 4- Simplified Declaration (formerly C73) for Import

The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) has finalized the Simplified Declaration (IMS4) Regime in ASYCUDA World. This replaces the current C73 Simplified Declaration Procedure that is used by consolidators and importers of personal effects.

In preparation for the launch of this module, the GRA has been conducting meetings and training sessions with stakeholders since September 2019. All consolidators are now required to put systems in place with adequate staff to commence the use of the IMS4 module by June 30, 2020.

Consolidators are reminded of the basic requirements necessary to facilitate the implementation which includes a recommended stable and adequate internet connectivity of 10 megabytes (MB); computer equipment and literacy.
