The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) wishes to remind all Carriers and Carrier Agents, that the piloting of the Motor Vehicle Module in the automated system of ASYCUDA World (AW) will commence shortly.
As such, you are hereby reminded that all incoming goods arriving with motor vehicles including Heavy Duty Vehicles and Trailers that are required to be registered with the Licence Revenue Office (LRO), MUST have all the below particulars entered in Vehicle Tab on the Waybill:
- VIN/Chassis Number
- Engine Number
- Engine (cc)
- Odometer Reading
- Make/Brand
- Year
- Colour
- New or Used.
Carriers and Carrier Agents are reminded that it is mandatory to input the required information in relation to the importation of all Motor Vehicles on the respective Waybills. The absence of these critical information will prevent further processing and registration of motor vehicles at the LRO.
