The public is hereby advised that the glitches recently experienced by some persons trying to use the Guyana Revenue Authority’s e-services platform were resolved. Taxpayers are encouraged to file all relevant returns online and on time.
Remember, that the submission of Income, Property, Corporation and Capital Gains Tax Returns should be done on or before April 30 each year. However, because April 30 is a Saturday this year, and is followed by holidays on Sunday
and Monday; Tuesday May 3, 2022 is the final day for the submission of all returns and payment of the balance of taxes for the Year of Income 2021.
Taxpayers are reminded that working hours for Cashier Services have also been extended to facilitate payments for outstanding taxes accordingly:
- 07:00hours to 17:00hours at GRA’s Headquarters, Camp Street
- 08:00hours to 17:00hours at the Integrated Regional Tax Offices
Remember, interest and penalties will be applied for submission of Income, Property, Corporation and Capital Gains Tax Returns after May 3, 2022.
Also, taxpayers are reminded of and encouraged to pay any outstanding taxes through the following alternative payment methods:
- Online banking (Republic Bank, Demerara Bank, GBTI)
- Mobile Money Guyana (MMG)
- Bill Express
