The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) will be disposing a quantity of alcoholic beverages on a ‘As Is, Where Is’ basis.
Inspection of the goods will be facilitated daily commencing Monday, March 20, 2023, and concluding on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, during the hours of 09:00hrs to 15:00hrs at:
1. GRA’s Warehouse Facility, Industrial Site, Eccles, East Bank Demerara; and
2. Law Enforcement Office, 216 Co-op Street, Springlands, Corriverton, Berbice,
The alcohol will be disposed at GRA’s approved price list, and interested persons are required to submit a written request to the Revenue Authority expressing their interest to purchase the alcohol, along with:
1. A copy of their Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Certificate; and
2. A copy of the requisite Off Liquor and Malt & Wine Licence or a Liquor Restaurant Licence.
Persons who have met the above-mentioned criteria and are interested, must state clearly in their letter to the Revenue Authority, on or before Tuesday, March 28, 2023, the quantity requested to purchase and their contact information.
Please note, all foreign alcohol purchase will be subject to the stamping requirements set out under Regulation 212 of the Regulations made under the Customs Act, Chapter 82:01. In addition, the Revenue Authority reserves the right to reject any or all request and to remove or re-offer any of the items for sale.
