The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) hereby notifies the general public that the deadline for the submission of tax returns due on April 30, 2025, and for the Year of Assessment 2025 has been extended to Friday, May 9, 2025. This extension applies to the filing and payment of the following returns:

• Individual Income Tax Returns
• Property Tax Returns (for Companies and Individuals)
• Capital Gains Tax Returns
• Corporation Tax Returns
• Partnership Tax Returns

Resulting therefrom, interest and penalties will be waived on returns submitted on or before May 9, 2025, provided that the associated payments are made on or before May 09, 2025.

Returns may be filed electronically using the PADNA mobile application or the Optimal eServices platform, both available via the GRA website at www.gra.gov.gy, or can be submitted in person to any GRA offices countrywide. For assistance with electronic filing, taxpayers may contact GRA on 225-5061-2, extensions 2204 to 2216.

Please note that taxes must be paid either directly to a GRA cashier or through one of the approved alternative payment channels, which include:

• Online banking (Demerara Bank, Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry, Republic Bank)
• MMG (Mobile Money Guyana)
• Western Union’s Bill Express
