The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) has launched its ASYCUDA VALUATION MODULE in a phased approach commencing with motor Vehicles.
This will be done by means of Tariff Specification Code (TSC) to link the particulars of the vehicle in ASYCUDA. Such TSCs have been created and are referenced in the eSad in ASYCUDA World.
In order to avoid unnecessary delays and to assist with the smooth execution of the processing of declarations, Importers, Brokers, Auto Dealers etc., are advised to consult the TSC Vehicle Finder on GRA’s website at https://www.gra.gov.gy/publications/tsc-vehicle-finder to verify whether or not a TSC has been created for the vehicle that is being imported.
If no TSC is found, you are asked to submit electronic copies by email of the Bill of Lading, Invoice, Vehicle Title/Registration and Export Certificate to the Trade Policy & Research Unit, Customs, Excise & Trade Operations, GRA at customstradepolicy@gra.gov.gy.
These must be submitted at least one (1) week prior to the arrival of the vessel with your vehicle in Guyana. This is to ensure that the TSC is created in advance.
Failure to submit in a timely manner may result in undue delays.
