The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) wishes to advise the general public that drivers whose licences are about to expire will only be required to submit the old plastic card licence and a completed application form.

The GRA will NOT be requiring any National Identification (ID) Card, passport sized photograph or copies thereof.This requirement only applies to holders of the plastic card licence.

NOTE

• Drivers who still have the ‘red book’ licence will be required to submit their National Identification Card and a completed application form.
• National Identification Card to obtain a duplicate.

The undertaking by the GRA to scan and digitally store all National Identification Cards and other supporting documents submitted by taxpayers, will rule out the need to resubmit and/or photocopy such documents.
